The Provo Temple at night is beautiful when lit up at night, and even better from above. This was taken from Squaw Peak, just up Provo Canyon. This was also taken with my zoom lens - next time I’m taking my tripod to improve my odds of getting good night photos.

It’s amazing how much my telephoto lens lets me zoom in. The flip side is you have to hold VERY still to get good pictures because the zoom magnifies every little movement you make when holding the camera.
This is uncropped, of the plugin about 4 feet from where I was sitting. The orange-ish hue is a result of the low lighting.

Note to self: When you take your camera out to take pictures, make sure you have a memory card to store said pictures!
So this is actually my second try at taking photos today, and I wonder if I could have got something with my other lenses… But in any case, here I present to you the flowers! The shot is simple enough, but I like the effect of the muted background behind.
So tomorrow, I bring the lenses and the memory card…
